Venom, trashmetalinyaratıcıları, birçok görüşe göre de black metalin black metal olmasında ön ayak olmuş en önemli gruplardan olan İngiliz müzik grubudur.Heavy metali değişterek "black metal" tarzını yaratmış gruptur. "Black metal" isimli albümleriyle türe isim babalığı da yapmışlardır. Şu anki kadroları; vokalde ve basta Cronos, gitarda Mike Hickey ve davulda Antton'dur.
